TRIBUTE TO MARIE CURIE
Today recognized worldwide as the most brilliant scientist of her time, Marie Curie leaves behind an invaluable moral legacy. A strong and courageous woman, she fought throughout her life for women's rights, social progress, and emancipation through knowledge. A symbol of her legacy, the Pantheon is engraved on the case back, recalling that she was the first woman to be inducted into the Hall of Fame on her own merit.
SUPER-LUMINOVA DIAL
In 1898, Pierre and Marie Curie discovered a new chemical element in a uranium ore: Radium.
It was used in watchmaking until the 1950s for its luminescent properties. Thanks to a special paint, watch hands became visible in the dark.
As a tribute to this discovery, when your watch is plunged into darkness, reading the time is simplified by an illuminated dial at the level of the hour markers and its single hand.

The date display on the right of the dial quickly indicates the day and date. Stylized in the format of the periodic table of elements, it once again recalls the universe and the discoveries of Marie Curie.

Thanks to the lug bar system, you can change the strap in less than ten seconds without tools. Be careful to put the part of the strap with the buckle at the top of the watch at 12 o'clock.
For GUSTAVE and Co., there is no "ideal" watch size. However, if your wrist measures less than 15cm, it is strongly recommended to go for a 36mm case. Conversely, if your wrist measures more than 18cm , we recommend a 40mm case.
