Our "Georges" collection is a tribute to the Parisian director and illusionist Georges Méliès. The pioneer of early cinematic special effects, this former magician invented trick photography and laid the foundations of modern cinema. In 1902, he created his masterpiece, "A Trip to the Moon". Yes, the first science fiction film was French! In an iconic scene, a team of astronauts is fired from a cannon into the eye of the moon…
A SINGLE-HAND MOON PHASE WATCH
Minimalist and poetic, the Georges watch dial draws inspiration from the dreamlike world of the cinema pioneer. Its moon phase pays homage to the iconic film A Trip to the Moon, while a delicate embossed pattern of concentric circles in the background evokes the rings of an orbit or lunar cycles.
The entire dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal that accentuates its depth and directly echoes the curvature of the Moon. In this collection, each hour marker on the Georges watch represents 5 minutes, with half-hour markers also indicated.
THE MOON IN MOTION
The Georges collection features a magnificent moon phase complication. A perforated window in the dial allows you to track the phases of the moon with precision.

What are the shipping costs and delivery times?
48–72-hour delivery is free in France with no minimum purchase. For European residents, standard delivery via Colissimo is €4.90 (free on orders over €500).
Internationally, standard delivery via Chronopost is €9.90. For non-EU countries, delivery times vary depending on the shipping address and range from 2 to 10 days.
Is it possible to return a product?
You have 30 days after receipt to return your product to us. Refund within 7 days after receipt at our store.
How do I change my bracelets?
Thanks to the spring bar system, you can change the strap in under ten seconds without any tools. Be sure to place the part of the strap with the buckle at the top of the watch, at the 12 o'clock position.
Which case size should I choose?
For GUSTAVE et cie, there is no “ideal” watch size. However, if your wrist measures less than 15 cm, we strongly recommend choosing a 36 mm case. Conversely, if your wrist measures more than 18 cm, we recommend a 40 mm case.
Is it possible to try on a watch in store?
You can discover and try all our products in our showroom, located at 2 rue Bénard, Paris 14ᵉ.
