Each of GUSTAVE et cie's collections pays tribute to a Frenchman who left his mark on his era. Our Louis watch is a tribute to the Sun King, but also a nod to Louis XVI, a passionate horology enthusiast.
Louis watches have only one hand that indicates the hours and minutes simultaneously. Like on a traditional watch, the hand of our 12-hour collections makes two full turns around the dial in a day.
Each index on the dial represents 5 minutes.
Our quartz watches use batteries that have an average lifespan of 2 years. You can have the battery replaced by any jeweler/watchmaker.
WATER-RESISTANT TO 5 ATM
All our Quartz watches are water-resistant to 5 ATM. They can withstand everyday use, hand washing, and rain.
However, they should not be exposed to a strong stream of water (showering) or deep, prolonged immersion (bathing or swimming).
